FBLA CONFERENCES

Kansas FBLA and National FBLA host numerous conferences throughout the year to engage students with business and industry in a hands-on learning environment.  Conferences feature captivating keynotes, workshop presentations, and competitive events, all of which are designed to help bring business and education together.

CONFERENCES

National Fall Leadership Conference

The FBLA National Fall Leadership Conference is an annual event designed to empower middle and high school students with business knowledge and networking opportunities. Through interactive workshops, students develop essential leadership abilities to succeed in their future endeavors. NFLC brings the most exciting and educational aspects of NLC closer to home. The upcoming NFLC is in Phoenix, Arizona, from Nov. 7-8, 2025. Register by Oct. 7th on https://www.fbla.org/nflc/.

State Leadership Conference

The Kansas State Leadership Conference is an event for students to compete and qualify for the National Leadership Conference. SLC is an affordable way to meet new people across the state, grow character, and develop competency in business skills. Students test their career preparedness in competitive events and receive feedback from business professionals.  The 2026 State Leadership Conference will be held from March 30-31 at the Storemont Vail Events Center, Topeka.

National Leadership Conference

The best and brightest of FBLA convene at the National Leadership Conference to compete in events, share their successes, and learn new ideas about their future career through workshops and exhibits. This four-day conference is considered the pinnacle of the FBLA experience. FBLA has forged partnerships with industry leaders to underwrite competitive events and scholarships for students achieving national rankings. NLC 2026 will be hosted in San Antonio, Texas, from June 29 to July 2nd.

Summer Leadership Seminar

Kansas FBLA members have the opportunity to grow as leaders during the Summer Leadership Conference. Students from all over Kansas are encouraged to attend the one-day seminar to network with peers, learn effective leadership, and promote FBLA. SLS is jam-packed with seminars, workshops, and icebreakers that students can use as they become leaders in their chapters. This event is hosted by the officer team in July.
